This paper will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the shot clock being introduced to high school basketball in Oklahoma in 2026-2027 school year. This paper will help show you why shot clocks should not be introduced due to the anxiety is causes, making shots inaccurate due to time constraints, and the distraction the clock makes for players.
